Please Rescue Me

Have you always wanted to try your hand at upholstering a chair?

Maybe you'd like to customize a dresser and bring it back to life with paint.

Some of our customers want to walk in our shop and find a piece already fixed up and prettied up. We also know others of you are big DIYers, looking to do your own rescuing.

That's why we're adding a new Rescue Me section outside the shop to complement our new paint line Amy Howard at Home that should be arriving later this month at the shop.

Look for these Rescue Me tags outside.  The Rescue Me area is right behind the pavilions in the pea gravel area.  We have set up a tent with pieces that we feel could benefit from some TLC.

We're putting anything out there...windows, chairs, mirrors, dressers, mantles, tables, you name it!

Here is an old headboard that needs some rescuing.

Oh look, here is some inspiration from our last Design House.  This similar piece was totally transformed with two colors of paint and some new hardware!

We'll be posting some of our favorite inspiration pieces, ideas & colors on our new Rescue Me Pinterest board.

We will be offering a new line of paint (hopefully starting this week) at the shop.  It's called Amy Howard at Home and we recently discovered it in Atlanta and fell in love.  The one step formula, really, really peaked our interest, but the color palette, variety of finishes, and price point kept our attention big time!

So check out our Rescue Me section next time you're at the shop and look for the Amy Howard paints soon at the shop!  {our Amy will be heading to some workshops and will be offering painting & refinishing workshops at the shop in the future using this line}
